I write and edit for these organizations and more:
Clients I take your instructions and follow them. I offer bright ideas for new approaches and best practices.
Training clients I lead customized workshops that help adults gain skill and confidence as writers. The workshops are both useful and entertaining, since people need to be engaged in order to learn. Sessions include in-class writing exercises and discussions at the basic, intermediate and advanced levels.
Corporate clients I work with CEOs and executives and managers in marketing and communications, human resources, information technology. I have experience with public and private companies, local and international.
Architecture, planning and design clients I help creative people promote their services in the built environment. I write about mullions and elevation and mixed-use developments and master plans. Try me.
Nonprofit clients I help nonprofits big and small, rich and poor, in many fields. I’m sensitive to budgetary limits, especially now. When I care enough, I write the very best.
Editing clients I teach people how to cut, trim and eliminate unnecessary words. I show them how to edit colleagues’ manuscripts in a manner that lets them work together tomorrow. I show them little-known tools in Microsoft Word.
Small businesses and consultants I help small, growing endeavors describe their services to prospective clients and customers. I write websites, print and electronic flyers, email campaigns and more.
Universities Four universities in the Philadelphia area have hired me to teach adults to write in noncredit programs. More than 1,200 students later, I still love the energy that a roomful of eager learners generates. Since 2007, I have been teaching adults at Temple University.
Individuals If you need writing coaching to keep your job, climb the ladder or sell your op-ed pieces to a website, please call me. I’m a kind, gentle coach who will push you as far as you are willing.
